Nut Shake
Rich and tasty. This nut shake is a nutritious substitute for other breakfast shakes and smoothies. There’s enough protein and good fats to keep you afloat for the better part of the morning.
1 tbsp each of: Almonds, Pumpkin seeds, Sesame seeds or Sunflower seeds, Flax seeds.
2 cups filtered water
1/2 banana
1/2 cup blueberries
Soak all the seeds overnight (or for 8 hours) in a bowl of filtered water ( ~ 1/2 cup of water). In the morning pour the nuts and water into a blender, add another 1.5 cups of filtered water. Add banana and blueberries, or if bananas aren’t appropriate, use a little maple syrup. Blend on med and then high until the mixture is smooth. Enjoy in a large glass or tumbler.
